  • General Questions

For more information, see our Meeting Rooms page.

You can find recommendations by our library staff by clicking on Explore in the main menu of the website. There you can a section called "Recommendations", which include Library PicksNew TitlesAward Winners and Bestsellers.

We also offer a service called Shelf Made where you can fill out a form, tell us about the books you like, and a librarian will write back with 5 book titles based on your answer.

    Yes we do.

Some local newspapers have been previously digitized as part of an ongoing effort by the library, and others are located in the basement of Rinconada Library. This collection includes original print versions and microfilm.

Search our eJournals database to see what we have, and when you're ready to view ask a staff member at the accounts desk to view.

To search for articles, researchers can use the EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) which is integrated into our catalog search tool.

EDS provides access to articles from across multiple research databases.

    To use EDS:

    1. Click the Search icon at the top-right of any library page.
    2. Select the Articles/Research option from the dropdown (as shown below).
    3. Search using your keywords.
    4. Results will be displayed within EDS, where you can add filters or refine your terms.

    Getting Started

See our LINK+ Lending page for a full overview on borrowing with LINK+.

How do I find LINK+ items while searching the catalog?

Link+ is integrated into the BiblioCommons catalog in the following ways:

      • In the footer at the bottom of any page
      • In the top right of all catalog search results pages (shown below)
      • From any zero-results page (shown below)
If multiple libraries have the item I want listed as "available", will the one closest to my home library send it?

Not always. Link+ may choose a different library to share the lending load among its members. However, this will not delay your item as all Link+ library members follow service timelines outlined in their bylaws.
