With the library closed, new card registrants have been unable to get full library privileges, until now.
Starting today, the library is granting new card holders expanded access to many online resources without having to present a California ID in person.
The expansion of privileges includes content such as:
- Axis360 eBooks and audiobooks
- Libby (Overdrive) eBooks, audiobooks and magazines
- Kanopy streaming movies and TV
- Hoopla streaming movies and TV, digital comics and audiobooks
- Ancestory.com
- Foundation Directory Online Essential
This list is being updated as vendors grant more access during the Pandemic. See our ever-changing, up-to-date list of all the expanded resources available to non-permanent card holders.
To get started, fill out our Online Registration form and receive your temporary library card number.
The expanded service for new card holders will remain in effect until the library re-opens to the public.
