Upcoming Changes to Library Subscriptions

We regularly evaluate our digital resource subscriptions to make sure they give the most value to our community. As part of this ongoing process, a few of our current subscriptions have ended or will be ending soon.

Subscriptions Ending in 2025

  • Freegal Music - June 22nd
This service will no longer be available after June 22. Don't worry though, we still have a whole host of streaming music options through other sites (notably Hoopla for new music).
  • BookFlix - June 30th
We have many more online resources for young readers and highly recommend checking out ComicPlus as an alternative: this site also has unlimited instant access to titles and many people do not know their collection includes picture books! Try the children's only version of ComicPlus, which makes searching within their app easier.
  • Boundless - September 1st
Later this summer Boundless, an eBook and audiobook platform, will be phased out. We will continue to subscribe to Libby and Hoopla for eBooks and audiobooks.

Other Changes

  • Consumer Reports via Flipster – Digital Magazine Version Only
We are discontinuing the digital magazine version of Consumer Reports in favor of options that are easier to use and search. Access Consumer Reports through their public library version of ConsumerReports.org or try the EBSCO database if you need to search back issues.
