However, for those who prefer to read The Economist online, it is still accessible through our Gale database, which provides a text-only format of all articles from 1988 to the present, including the current issue.
Access The Economist via Gale
Step 1
First, click on the "General OneFile from Gale" link from our A-Z list.
Step 2
Once you're on the Gale homepage, click on the "Advanced Search" option located under the search box.
Step 3
Enter "The Economist" in the "Search Term" box and select "Publication Title" from the "Field" drop-down menu.
Step 4
Click the search button and it will display articles from "The Economist" as a search result.
