Attention budding Einsteins! The California State Library has funded access to three online learning resources focused on science.
The new online tools are part of California’s K-12 Online Resources Program, which already makes a wide variety of free research and homework tools available to every school-age student in California. No library card is required.
The resources include:
Gale Presents: National Geographic Kids
Allows students to explore science, nature, culture, archaeology, and space through images, videos and eBooks.

Gale In Context: Environmental Studies
Broadens student understanding of environmental issues that affect people globally through topic overviews, journals, news, and multimedia content.

Gale Interactive: Science
Allows students to manipulate 3D interactive models (including a 3D T-Rex skull!) to visualize and understand biology, chemistry, earth, and space science concepts.
