This illustration was inspired by the song "Brutal," sung by Olivia Rodrigo. Taking from the lyrics, I interpreted the story of the song as a teenager feeling insecure about themselves and feeling judged by everyone. The artwork depicts a student struggling with their acne–each bump on their face is magnified in their eyes, as well as the perceived judgement from others in the school bathroom.
