Summer Reading for a Cause 2024
Our reading program has come to an end. Thank you for reading with us this summer. Together, we read and listened for over 1.6 million minutes! 
For surpassing our community goal, our Friends of the Palo Alto Library will donate $2,500 to local organization, Downtown Streets Team, opens a new window.
Prizes are available for pickup at Children's, Mitchell Park, or Rinconada Library through August 31, while supplies last.

If you log at least 5 hours of reading, you've earned a prize! Prizes can be picked up July 1 through August 31 at Children's, Mitchell Park, and Rinconada libraries while supplies last.

About Downtown Streets Team
We're excited to partner with Downtown Streets Team this summer! This local organization works towards restoring dignity, inspiring hope and providing a pathway for Team members to recover from homelessness. Teams engage in beautification and clean-up projects in our community, while receiving case management and employment placement services from trained specialists. We’re honored to support an organization that empowers people in our community.
