Year of Letters

Welcome to a new series starting at Rinconada on January 8th, a year of letters.  These monthly events will be ongoing informal drop in sessions where we will make cards, write letters, decorate envelopes, and enjoy doing these things in a social setting.

Here’s our lineup for the first half of the year:

  • January 8, 4:30-5:30 PM  Let’s write thank you notes!  Start your year off right by letting people know how much you enjoyed a holiday gift, visit, or activity.
  • February 5, 4:30-5:30 PM Valentine cards. Drop in to make fun holiday/happiness cards to send or share.
  • March 19, 4:30-5:30 PM March Mix. There will be a mix of activities as we gear up for National Letter Writing Month in April. We'll share ideas for making cards and decorating envelopes.
  • April 2, 4:30-5:30 PM National Letter Writing Month. We'll use this session to catch up, or get ahead, on letter writing!
  • May 7, 4:30-5:30 PM, opens a new window Mother’s Day, Graduation, and birthday cards.
