Submit your work to the Palo Alto City Library Teen Literary Journal!

Do you love writing and want to share your work with your community? Have you ever wanted to be published in a literary journal? If you said yes to either (or both) of those questions, we have good news: submissions for the Palo Alto City Library Teen Literary Journal are now open!

We will be compiling a teen-written, teen-driven anthology released for National Poetry Month.

  • Bay Area teens ages 13-18 are invited to submit to our first issue in either prose or poetry. You may submit up to five pieces of poetry or up to 3000 words of prose.

  • We ask that only teens living in the Bay Area submit their work to this anthology.

  • We support creative freedom, but we ask that submissions do include any hateful words toward other people or groups.

  • Submissions will close on January 14 at 11:59 PM.

  • Please submit all entries as one Word document or PDF, or share the link to a document or folder with all submissions included. (If sending a link, make sure that we can access and download the file(s)).
