In addition to library resources, there are several organizations that provide information on gardening. Check out the workshops and hands on events happening in the area!
Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County provides in person workshops, a help line, and hosts a demonstration garden in Palo Alto at 851 Center Drive in the Eleanor Pardee Community Garden. Be sure to check out their spring and fall plant sales.
California Native Plant Society is a statewide organization with local chapters. The Santa Clara Valley Chapter also hosts plant sales and provides learning opportunities.
When you are ready to get some seeds in the ground, stop by the Seed Library at Rinconada, which usually has three varieties of seeds available each week.
