These are all photos that I took in the Palo Alto area, some in the hills, some just in my backyard.
The squirrel in the photo was collecting lichen for a nest, preparing for their winter breeding season. The brown bird is a white-crowned sparrow that is looking for food, and the Hummingbird is a female Anna's Hummingbird.
Everything except the bee shot was taken on a Nikon 80-400mm f4.5-5.6 lens.
