StoryWalk at Mitchell Park

A StoryWalk® as an interactive way for readers of all ages to enjoy a book and the outdoors at the same time! Laminated pages from a children’s picture book are displayed on special signs along the outdoor path at Mitchell Park, opens a new window.

Families are encouraged to participate by walking through the park and reading the book posted along the path. As participants walk along the path, they will be directed to the next page in the story. Read a good story and experience the beauty of the park by taking a stroll along our StoryWalk!

Visitors are encouraged to share their StoryWalk experience on social media, opens a new window with photos and/or comments, using hashtags #PaloAltoLibrary #StoryWalk.

The StoryWalk®, opens a new window Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
